Created specifically for use in the life sciences and manufactured with USP Class VI-compliant resin, Savillex Purillex® PETG Square Media Lab Pack Bottles are an excellent choice for secure liquid media packaging and ingredients storage.
They are ideally suited for use in a variety of critical applications in media manufacturing, research, drug development and biopharmaceutical production.
Design Features
Savillex heavy-duty PETG bottles include a highdensity polyethylene (HDPE) lugged closure which is engineered to provide a leakproof seal. Their square, practical, and optically clear design make for easy labeling, storage, process handling, and pouring.
The injection molding process produces excellent thread quality and avoids the need for secondary bottle lip machining, greatly reducing particulate contamination risk and ensuring a high integrity seal - without requiring secondary seals or inserts. Designed for manual and automated fill lines, they are durable and shatter-resistant.
Purillex PETG Bottles have been crafted to serve as seamless replacements for competing PETG media bottles. Savillex also offers the ability to produce custom components, assemblies, and variations aligned to your specific needs in a timely manner.
Lab Pack
Purillex PETG Square Media Bottle Lab Packs combine convenience, security, and material quality to meet the unique demands of laboratory and research settings. They are packaged with 50% fewer bottles than standard cases - making them a great option for smaller-scale laboratories requiring reduced inventory for limited usage.
Purillex PETG Square Media Lab Pack bottles also feature a heatshrink band, providing visual assurance of product integrity and safety. Additional benefits include:
- Ideal for pilot production batches where sterility and security are paramount
- Reduced storage & waste requirements for smaller operations
- Specifically designed to handle reagents, buffers, culture media, and other sensitive solutions
Resin Characteristics
The resin used in Purillex PETG Bottles is non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, and recyclable. It creates an optically clear finished product that’s compatible with a wide range of chemicals and has a low leachable and extractable profile.
PETG offers excellent chemical and temperature resistance which is beneficial in applications that include freeze/thaw steps. It also produces exceptional gas barrier properties - including a reduced permeability to CO2 and O2.
Sterilization: Gamma irradiation
