PCBs

Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are highly toxic industrial compounds that are chemically stable and non-flammable with have high boiling points and electrical insulating properties. These chemical properties made PCBs popular for a variety of industrial applications, including use in electrical transformers, hydraulic fluids and lubricants.
PCBs are slow to break down and can persist in the environment posing serious health risks to humans with continued low levels of exposure. Although PCBs have been banned for many years the problem of PCB contamination is widespread.
We're pleased to offer an extensive range of high quality reference materials, available as neat products, individual solutions and mixes.
Please use the Filter By functions to select the required form, solvent, stable isotope labelling and use the subcategory filter to select specific PCBs but if you are unable to locate the reference standard or the format you require, please contact us with your requirements, we’ll be delighted to help.
