Inert Spray Chamber

Inert Spray Chamber

The Savillex PFA cyclonic spray chamber (CSC) is the latest addition to our popular and widely praised range of inert sample introduction products for ICP-OES & ICP-MS.  Manufactured using a unique stretch blow molding technology, it offers superior stability, sensitivity and improved washout compared to traditional inert spray chambers.

Its optimum cyclonic shape, similar to traditional glass or quartz cyclonics, features a deep spoiler which improves signal stability and prevents re-nebulization, while a drain guide on the baffle tip promotes smooth draining. The extremely smooth surface finish aids washout and draining, whilst its translucent walls allow the user to see inside the chamber during operation.

The nebulizer port accepts any 6 mm OD nebulizer, and a threaded PFA nut eliminates the need for o-rings. Made entirely of high purity virgin PFA, the Savillex PFA CSC is also available with an optional surface treatment, which further enhances sensitivity, making it comparable to the best glass and quartz cyclonics.
