The NOVAWAVE SA Microwave Digestion System

The NOVAWAVE SA from SCP Science is a Stand Alone Microwave Tunnel Digestion System with software and hardware to digest 12 different sample types simultaneously including the flexibility of unique, individual method assignments for each sample in a 12 sample rack. It features:

• Pre-programmed with EPA Methods 3015A, 3051A, and 3052
• Independent and unique sample digestion tunnel, with auto-cooling
• Digest 12 samples simultaneously in 10 minutes or less
• Vent all 12 samples simultaneously
• Self-venting vessels that automatically vent (@500psi) and reseal
• Process up to twice as many samples per day compared to conventional microwave digestion systems
• Monitor and control temperature of each sample independently
• Use a different method (new or stored) for each sample in a 12-position rack
• Unique ID in each rack; recognized as the rack enters the system allowing the correct method to be applied to each tube as defined by the user in the software
• The system is operated through the intuitive and informative touch screen interface
• Accepts racks for both 50ml and 75ml vessels
• Can be upgraded to a Fully Automated system with the addition of the Transporter and additional racks (not included)

For laboratories with limited samples, the Model SA is the instrument of choice. Speed and flexibility are built-in with the capability of running a rack of samples with individual sample temperature programs. Simultaneously, digest water and soil samples in the same rack with an optimised digestion program employed for each sample!

The Model SA can be upgraded at any time to a full Model FA through the acquisition of the transporter and additional racks, vessels and Teflon® caps.
